- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪A friend of mine has recommended that I make an appt for my 9 yr old Chihuahua Pinky, (male). Last summer I took him to Balsam animal clinic because he was infested bad with fleas. He is now infested again and I've found 3 or 4 ticks. They gave him a pill last summer. When I called this time they said I had to pay $45 office call just to get the pill. My question is do you charge an office call also to get the flea pill? Also they said to get his rabies booster when it's due there is no office call charge just bring him in and get the shot. So I don't understand why I have to pay $45 plus the cost of the pill. So I'm looking for another vet. ThankyouSeptember 27, 2017by Susan Cooksey
